Play fair
No bots, scripts or pasting answers in from a thesaurus. Our fair-play system may tag accounts whose play looks automated; tagged accounts can keep playing but are hidden from leaderboards. Ratings and points may be corrected if they were earned unfairly.
Be kind
Usernames must not be offensive or impersonate others, including staff. We may rename or remove accounts that break this rule.
The word list
Synonym rulings come from our graded word list, built from open dictionary data. They won’t always match every dictionary; use “Disagree?” to tell us and we’ll review it.
The service
The game is provided free and “as is”. We may change features, reset ratings between seasons, or pause the service, and we’re not liable for lost progress.
